| Toshiba launches its largest ever lineup of Satellite laptops offering versatility and choice for students |

The first 14.1-inch ultra portable laptop, multimedia computing machines and value pack desktop replacements are amongst 19 new models
MARKHAM, ON (July 21, 2008) – Toshiba of Canada Information Systems Group (Toshiba) today announced its largest lineup of Satellite laptops offering students the selection they want and the tools they need for a successful academic year.
"Students have unique tastes, varying needs and different budgets," said Mini Saluja, Toshiba product manager. "With that in mind, we have introduced 19 Satellite laptops giving consumers a variety of options from desktop replacements to ultra portable mobile laptops or units centered on digital entertainment and gaming."
Toshiba's Satellite models include wireless capabilities, an integrated web cam and an integrated microphone (on selected models) for real time communication on the go. Students can easily access their system using Face Recognition software which makes it possible to logon to the laptop without typing in a password. The Satellite U400, Satellite M300, Satellite A300 and Satellite P300 include Sleep n' Charge ports for users to charge their MP3 player, digital camera and other mobile devices even when the computer is turned off.

Satellite M300
The Satellite M300 is Toshiba's first ultra portable unit featuring a 14.1-inch screen that offers students improved functionality and mobility for working in the dorm room or typing notes in the lecture hall. Cased in mercury silver, the compact laptop comes loaded with Microsoft Vista Home Premium 64-bit and HDMI-CEC ports for convenient digital connectivity.
Satellite M300-02P – powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5750 – 2.0 GHz and comes with 3GB DDR2, 320GB of Hard Disk Drive space and the ATI mobility Radeon HD 3470 graphics controller with 256MB of VRAM. Suggested list price is $1,049.
Satellite M300-04V – equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5750-2.0 GHz, 3GB DDR2, 250GB of Hard Disk Drive space and the ATI mobility Radeon HD3470 graphics controller with 256MB of VRAM. Suggested list price is $949.
Satellite M300-03S – includes the Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2390-1.86 GHz, 3GB DDR2, 250GB Hard Disk Drive space and Intel GMA X3100 graphics controller. Suggested list price is $829.
Satellite U400
The ultra portable Satellite U400 boasts a 13.3-inch screen that weighs in at only 4.6-pounds. Perfect for students on the go, the mercury silver laptop comes with a DVD
Super-Multi Double Layer Drive, Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit and delivers high definition sound.

Satellite A300

Satellite L300 and Satellite L350
Toshiba's Satellite L300 and Satellite L350 laptops are practical desktop replacements that include must-have features for a great value. The Satellite L300 laptops come in a stylish aluminum silver case and weigh 5.49-pounds with a 15.4-inch display screen.
