Pitney Bowes MapInfo to Hold Several Events Demonstrating MapInfo Professional 9.5 in Canada and the United States
Troy, NY, July 17, 2008— Pitney Bowes MapInfo, the leading global provider of location intelligence solutions, today announced the start of the MapInfo Professional Road Show. With events in the United States and Canada, customers will have the opportunity to learn more about MapInfo Professional 9.5 newest features with live demos and question and answer sessions. Attendees also will be able to participate in a focus group with product managers and help provide direction for future features and functions.
MapInfo Professional 9.5 features support for more industry standards and a broader spectrum of CAD tools, improved data creation and editing and greater programming language support. The newest version also supports Oracle Database 11g and Microsoft SQL Server, and provides organizations with access to Open Geospatial Consortium’s Web Feature Service.
