TigerServers Selects SingleHop to Provide Servers, Services and Infrastructure August 19, 2008
TORONTO, Ontario, Aug. 19 /CNW/ -- TigerServers, http://www.tigerservers.com , a Toronto-based managed hosting provider, today announced that it has selected SingleHop, inc. http://www.singlehop.com to provide servers, services and infrastructure for its managed servers business. "SingleHop is a great fit for us because they have provided us with a turnkey solution to the complex business of server management, allowing us to focus on our core business of providing top-notch server management services. This relationship allows us to remove the burdens of everyday network and physical infrastructure maintenance," says Kaumil Patel, Founder & President of TigerServers.

"TigerServers is an impressive new hosting company and is taking full advantage of our service and hardware offerings. This package will allow us to virtually mitigate any and all issues on the spot and provide TigerServers with a smooth, efficient infrastructure from which to conduct business," says Dan Ushman, vice president of SingleHop.

"SingleHop has one of the most flexible and unique product and services lines in the industry. Being able to 'fill in the gaps' in our own infrastructure through their famous 'transparent ala carte' service offerings means that we don't have to pay for the services we don't use, as we would in a traditional managed hosting agreement. This allows us to profitably resell servers and management services," adds Patel.

The months of July and August have marked a huge surge in SingleHop product offerings, including a Content Delivery Network; the announcement of LEAP, the server manager webtop client portal; the company's free 2GB RAM upgrade for existing clients; the release of Advanced Automatic Server Provisioning (AASP,) a technology, exclusive to SingleHop and LEAP, which drastically increases server installation time as well as reduces human error. Additionally LEAP features SingleHop's exclusive IP ensure technology, which guarantees that clients will only receive clean IP addresses.
