NVIDIA SLI Dual video card offers the highest image quality available for this holiday season's video games

MARKHAM, ON (November 26, 2007) —Toshiba of Canada Information Systems Group (Toshiba ISG) today launched the newest Satellite X200, a top-of-the-line gaming notebook computer featuring NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8600GT 512MB VRAM Video Card with NVIDIA SLI™ technology that offers up to twice the graphics performance of a standard gaming processing unit (GPU) for a mind blowing gaming experience. Five harmon/kardon(R) speakers, a built in subwoofer and an HD DVD™ ROM drive bring together all the essentials for today's sophisticated gamers and high definition movie fanatics.

"This is one of the only notebook computers to boast such a range of digital media into a single, mobile gaming entertainment hub," said Mini Saluja, Toshiba product manager. "The Satellite X200 combines the latest NVIDIA SLI technology and high definition capabilities for incredible graphics, sound and performance. This is the ideal machine for enjoying the newest video games."

The Satellite X200's NVIDIA SLI GPU optimizes graphics performance by combining patented graphics cards in a single system with an NVIDIA nForce™ SLI media and communications processor (MCP). SLI technology can scale both geometry and fill rate performance in digital and analog formats for the highest possible image quality, stunning HD video playback and superb picture clarity. Gaming or movie fans can experience this spectacular image quality on their internal or external HD displays with the GeForce GPU in the Satellite X200 which boasts NVIDIA PureVideo™ HD technology for high definition video play back.

The flare carmine red Satellite X200 is powered with an Intel(R) Core™ 2 Duo T7500 Processor. The state-of-the-art machine has 2GB of DDR2, 300 GB hard drive, Toshiba's leading wireless capabilities and an integrated 1.3 megapixel web camera for staying close to those who are far away for the holidays.

It comes loaded with Windows Vista™ Ultimate and has a Canadian bilingual keyboard. It retails for the suggested list price of $2,699.

To help consumers get their HD DVD movie collection started, Toshiba has teamed up with Warner Home Video, Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios to offer five free HD DVD discs by mail with the purchase of any new Toshiba HD DVD notebook computer up until February 28th 2008.

As with all Toshiba notebook computers, the Satellite X200 is RoHS compliant and conforms to stringent international environmental standards to effectively reduce the environmental impact by restricting the use of lead, mercury and certain other hazardous substances. Toshiba also offers a proactive environmental program to ensure that PC hardware and any associated components that pose environmental risks will be collected, dismantled and safely disposed of, regardless of the manufacturer. Any Canadian resident with unwanted or outdated PC components can alert Toshiba that they're ready to safely dispose of their hardware by registering at www.toshiba.ca/TERRE.
